Word Search Game Definitions
Toothbrush Instrument used in the mouth composed of a handle bristles used for bacterial plaque removal.
Dental Floss Fine string used between teeth for bacterial plaque removal.
Gums The soft tissue around teeth that needs to be brushed daily.
Plaque The sticky clear substance that contains billions of bacteria.
Saliva The lubricating liquid found in the mouth that helps with digestion.
Molars The teeth found in the back of the mouth that are used for grinding and crushing.
Fluoride The substance that is added to toothpaste and water to make teeth resitant to decay.
Enamel The hard white covering of the tooth that protects it from damage.
Dentin Found beneath the enamel. It is bone-like in nature and makes up most of the tooth.
Pulp Soft area inside the tooth composed of blood vessels and nerves.
Gingivitis Inflamed gum tissue caused by plaque bacteria not being brushed and flossed properly.
